Kent Beer of the Year

Who should enter? Breweries based in Kent producing beer made predominantly from Kent-grown hops. All styles are welcome - from pale ales and IPAs to stouts, lagers and session beers. If you're a Kent brewer proud of your hops, this is your category.

How will this category be judged? Entries are taste tested by a panel of expert judges drawn from across the drinks industry, including beer specialists, buyers and industry experts.

Judging criteria: Character, taste, appearance, aroma and drinkability. Judges will also consider how the product has been branded and marketed, and any key points of difference that set it apart.
