We are a fresh food bistro, our chefs prepare all our dishes. We are entirely gluten-free, and I believe we were the first entirely GF restaurant in the UK. We also cater carefully to all allergies, which we realised in our early years was vital as many people who can't eat gluten also have multiple allergies. As we make everything fresh, in-house we know exactly what goes into a dish and how we can adjust many dishes to suit people with different allergies. Our menus change regularly as we try to ensure that we use seasonal produce. We have a bistro-style menu catering for vegans all the way through to those who prefer their steak blue! We have been working since Covid to reduce our food miles, and we have changed suppliers to work with local companies that have a similar ethos to ourselves. We have introduced several local vineyards to our drinks menu & have a wide range of local gins and other spirits. We have removed all of our new world wines and replaced them with European wines in order to reduce our third-party emissions quite markedly. We work with a local brewery, Westerham, who have moved all their single-pour beers to cans instead of glass to reduce their footprint.
