Whitstable Oyster Trading Company

The Whitstable Oyster Trading Company is a local business that has been producing oysters in Whitstable for over 200 years.

We sell Pacific Rock Oysters (Crassostrea gigas) year round and also Whitstable Natives (Ostrea edulis) which are available September - April each year.

As a business we are looking to bring oysters back to their former glory and cement Whitstable’s place as the international leader of shellfish production and sustainable practices. We are looking to continue to maximise our use of environmentally friendly packaging and processes to ensure that we are at the forefront of sustainability.
