Couple Tom Gravett and Renata Peret took on the pub in December 2021, bringing their extensive experience running a number of hospitality venues in London for two decades. Their vision was for the pub to be run by the locals, for the locals, creating a relaxed pub at the heart of its community with a superb food offering. They wanted to capture the essence of the locality with a menu inspired by the seasons. They have made the most of their large garden by creating an external kitchen and refurbishing the garden to offer accessible barbeque food and pizza, while maintaining their upscale offer in the restaurant.
