Nikki lives in North London but grew up in deepest Kent. She still enjoys spending time in the county, regularly hopping on a Southeastern train, to wander around the coastal towns and pretty towns and villages across the county, discovering new restaurants and bars and shopping until she drops in the many independent shops.
The Taste of Kent Awards are a fantastic opportunity for food and drink businesses in Kent to widen awareness of what they do and get their product in front of more customers. The award ceremony is a great way to meet other businesses owners, to collaborate and share ideas. I am excited to be judging the awards again, for me it’s all about the taste and depth of flavour plus the provenance of ingredients and I will definitely be looking for these when judging.
