Who should you vote for?

Think about the food and drink markets in Kent that you love to visit. The ones with a brilliant atmosphere, a great range of local producers and stallholders who are genuinely passionate about what they sell. The markets that feel like a celebration of everything Kent's food and drink scene has to offer.

We're looking for regular, organised markets with a genuine commitment to Kent food and drink - from weekly farmers' markets and specialist food fairs to regular street food gatherings with a strong local producer focus.

• Actively promote and champion Kent food and drink
• Run regularly and consistently throughout the year

How does the judging work?

Your vote matters - but it's just the beginning. Once the public vote closes, the top ten markets are invited to submit further information about their market, including details of their stallholders, the range of local produce available and how they promote Kent food and drink. An expert judging panel reviews both the public vote and the submissions to select a shortlist of finalists. Those finalists are then mystery visited by professional researchers before a winner is chosen.

Judging criteria: Overall market experience, affordability, range and quality of Kent produce available, customer service, stallholder and organiser knowledge, marketing and promotions, and overall food and drink offering.
