Who should enter? Any Kent food or drink business that has an outstanding individual in their team who deserves to be recognised for their contribution to the sector. We're looking for nominations that shine a light on people working in roles that may often go unseen - yet are essential, highly skilled, and fundamental to your organisation's success. Whether it's someone showing exceptional commitment and resilience, going the extra mile for their team, progressing through their career, or simply being the cornerstone that keeps everything running - if they deserve celebrating, we want to hear about them.
This category is open to any food or drink business based in Kent and Medway to nominate an individual member of their team.
How will this category be judged? Nominators submit a written entry telling us who their nominee is, what they do, and why they deserve this award. Be as specific as possible and include examples or testimonials to bring their story to life. Submissions are assessed by a panel of judges who produce a shortlist of finalists. Those shortlisted will then be invited to an online interview with our sponsors and talent partners.
How much does it cost to enter? This category is free to enter.
Judging criteria: Commitment and resilience, contribution to the team including training and wellbeing, approach to learning and development, career progression, dependability and operational impact, and going the extra mile.
