Who should enter? Any Kent food or drink business that is leading the way on sustainability - whether that's in how you source your ingredients, how you manufacture or process, how you package, how you reduce waste, or how you engage your team and community around environmental responsibility. If sustainability is genuinely embedded in how you run your business - not just a bolt-on - this category is for you.

This category is open to producers, manufacturers, processors, retailers and hospitality businesses based in Kent.

How will this category be judged? Entrants submit a detailed written entry covering their sustainability strategy, the actions they've taken and the measurable impact achieved. Submissions are assessed by a panel of expert judges who produce a shortlist of finalists. Finalists are then invited to a 1-2-1 interview with the judging panel.

How much does it cost to enter? Entry fees are £30 for Produced in Kent members and £50 for non-members.

Judging criteria: Clarity and ambition of sustainability strategy, evidence of meaningful action and measurable impact, responsible sourcing and supply chain management, waste reduction and packaging, community and team engagement, and overall commitment to a more sustainable future for Kent's food and drink sector.
