Who should enter? Wineries and vineyards based in Kent, producing wine from grapes grown in Kent, Sussex, Essex or Surrey. All styles are welcome - still, sparkling, rosé and orange. This category celebrates the remarkable growth of English wine and Kent's place at the heart of it.
How will this category be judged? Entries are taste tested by a panel of expert judges drawn from across the drinks industry, including sommeliers, wine buyers and specialist writers.
Judging criteria: Character, taste, appearance, aroma and drinkability. Judges will also consider how the product has been branded and marketed, and any key points of difference that set it apart.
