Natural Resources Institute (NRI), University of Greenwich
Based at the University’s Medway campus in Chatham Maritime, we’re proud to be supporting the Taste of Kent Awards.
The Natural Resources Institute (NRI), part of the University of Greenwich, is a specialist research and education organisation focused on food, agriculture, environment and sustainable livelihoods. Its food work spans the whole system - crop production, post-harvest science, food loss and waste, safety and nutrition - with a long reputation for applied research in developing countries.
Taste of Kent is important to NRI because it highlights our strong regional identity and demonstrates the Institute's role as a key contributor to Kent's food, agriculture, enterprise and sustainability sectors. It provides a visible platform to connect research with local industry, support student employability, strengthen partnerships with Kent producers and businesses, and showcase NRI's place-based impact and enterprise activity beyond academia.
